As a follow houstonian with oily skin on top of this heat I want to update my makeup routine so bad but I am TERRIFIED of anything that says dewy/hydrating or cream products. And I’m a sweaty girl😢. I wonder if cream eyeshadow would work on extremely oily eyelids. I have tried wearing eyeliner by its self and ended up with raccoon eyes 4 hours later because I have hooded eyes as well. 😫

Would you recommend using the setting spray before foundation or after? I have seen some people having problems with patchy makeup after using a setting spray as a final step in their makeup routin .. so what's your advice?

I'm sorry, but I don't think a drugstore lipstick would perform as well as the Pat McGrath lipsticks. I can quite literally wear them all day long and they look awesome and feel comfortable. Yes, it does take ten minutes or so for them to dry down, but they wear like a dream.

My advice for boarding if you’re more than one adult travelling, let one person board with the older children, car seats, cabin bags etc to set up everything and get it all stowed, leaving the other adult with little kid/s to expend as much energy as possible before boarding last.

First, thank you so much for this video! It is so nice to have a comparison of different products from this brand and how to wear, especially from someone who seems to use them how I plan to use them, which is not every day, and not super styled. I did just want to add for anyone concerned about the short hair showing over the top in the back issue: According to this brand’s website and UA-cam, they seem to recommend fitting the halo higher than indicated in this video, and pulling less hair over the top. Obviously it will depend on the person, their head shape, their hair and what’s most comfortable. I’ve tried a friend’s 22 inch from Hidden Crown and found it super light and comfortable, even fitted to someone else, and I have a very sensitive scalp lol Hoping to purchase my own soon, and this video helped so much! :)

I just did my move up for my 1 year anniversary. I have very thin and very fine hair. I decided about 2 years ago to try extensions and originally started with tape ins. Then I decided to switch to traditional sewn in extensions. I had a bad install which caused major damage and breakage and they were also really damaging my scalp. At that time I just happened to meet a stylist that said she had a method that wouldn’t damage my scalp or hair. I decided to give it a shot and I would never do anything other than IBE now. My hair and scalp are so healthy now, a year later. The initial cost for the hair was expensive but I’ve used the same hair for the whole year and it’s still in great shape The cost to move up the extensions is the same as I was paying for the old fashion method - so no added expense there. I have 1 row with 5 wefts. It definitely took a couple of weeks to get used to the weight but now I don’t notice it at all. The hair is so soft. It has great movement. I love the flexibility with styling. My natural hair wouldn’t hold a style and this hair does. I also use a considerable amount of heat and styling products and the hair is still in amazing condition! Side note- I’ve switched all my styling products to L’ange. Both my natural hair and the extensions are always shiny and soft.

I’m 66….my cholesterol was 250…..doctor told me to get red yeast rice 1200mg and he’d check my blood after 6 months of taking it…..cholesterol went down 20 points to 230 so he told me to keep taking it and I go back in August to check my blood again.. I get it from Amazon. I’ve had zero side effects from it. Some doctors believe in it and others don’t. Loved seeing you!

I am 67…yikes…that seems so old. I totally understand when you talk about feeling alone. I retired about two years ago. With the job loss, I also lost the friend group at work. But I have realized that being outdoors and movement helps my mental health. I don’t have grandkids, and may never. I am closer to 40 than 30 these days, and I can totally understand the change in your mentality based around your age, trying to find a balance with physical activity to help your mentality, and I too struggle with a parental relationship and have had to cut communication. I’m also a mom to a 4 year old. The strain on mental health is real. Walking and taking a break to enjoy fresh air and breathe has helped me tremendously. I’m still navigating how to deal with parental loss (my mom passed 10 years ago, my dad is alive but basically non-existent in my life), feeling like you’re the adult more than your parent is so freaking hard. I’m limited on physical activity I can do, due to physical disability, but I always enjoyed yoga and it seriously helped me keep my weight and mind in check. I need to get back to doing it! Hugs to you!

I have had a similar health journey. I’m turning 50 this next December and it’s just shifting my mindset.

Have they thinned or damaged your hair at all? I just took my ktips out after years and they thinned my hair. I would like to try ibe but I don't want to do damage on my already thin hair. They look fabulous!
